Newborn Vaccination
Schedule: When and What to Expect
First vaccines, including Hepatitis B, are administered soon after
birth to protect against
early infections.
6 Weeks: Vaccinations like DPT (Diphtheria, Pertussis, and Tetanus), Polio, and Hib (Haemophilus influenzae type B) are given.
10 Weeks: The second doses of DPT, Polio, and Hib vaccines are scheduled.
14 Weeks: The third set of doses for DPT, Polio, and Hib are given to
boost immunity.
6 Months: Babies receive another dose of Hepatitis B and the first dose of the influenza vaccine.
