Ligaments are strong bands of tissue that attach one bone to another. ACL Reconstruction is a surgical procedure to replace a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). These injuries are common among people who play sports because they make movements that can put a lot of stress on the knee. Mr. Sreekanth Goud, visited Yashoda Hospitals Secunderabad with complaints of instability in along with progressive pain in the knee joints. Post medical investigation it was found that he had an anterior cruciate ligament injury along with a tumor of the right fibular head. This procedure helped stabilize his condition and now he is is able to walk comfortably.
