Testimonial by Mr. Suresh Kumar Gupta

Coronary artery disease (CAD) and triple vessel disease (TVD) are heart conditions caused by atherosclerosis, a buildup of plaque in the coronary arteries. Triple vessel disease (TVD) is a specific type of CAD where three of the heart’s major arteries are significantly narrowed or blocked over time, reducing blood flow to the heart muscle. Symptoms can vary depending on the severity of blockages and may include chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, or heart attack. Diagnosis involves various tests, such as an ECG to measure heart activity, a stress test to evaluate the heart’s response to exercise, an echocardiogram to visualize the heart’s structure and function, a cardiac CT scan to create detailed images of the heart and blood vessels, and coronary angiography to visualize the coronary arteries.

CAD-TVD treatment depends on the severity of the condition and the individual’s overall health. Lifestyle modifications and medical therapies can help manage symptoms and reduce the risk of heart attacks. For severe cases, surgical intervention may be necessary. Medical treatments include lifestyle changes like a healthy diet, regular exercise, and quitting smoking. Medications like statins, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, and antiplatelet drugs can help lower cholesterol, control blood pressure, and prevent blood clots. Surgical treatments include coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and intravascular ultrasound imaging (IVUS). The choice of treatment depends on factors like the severity of the condition and the individual’s overall health.
