Medical treatments include lifestyle changes like a healthy diet, regular exercise, and quitting smoking. Medications like statins, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, and antiplatelet drugs can help lower cholesterol, control blood pressure, and prevent blood clots. Surgical treatments include coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and intravascular ultrasound imaging (IVUS). The choice of treatment depends on factors like the severity of the condition and the individual’s overall health.
