Critical Care Technology & Facilities
Yashoda Hospital’s Critical Care Unit is well equipped with specially designed beds. These motorized beds are accompanied with the latest technology required to monitor hemodynamic parameters and provide efficient treatment to the patient. We also have a High Dependency Unit (HDU) that caters to less critical patients and provides them with 24×7 care. The facilities available at our hospitals are:
Intensive Critical Care Unit:
Our emergency team has neurologists, internal medicine physicians, nurses, technicians, and cardiologists who provide round-the-clock centralized care for patients. All ICCU beds are specially designed and equipped with state-of-the-art technology to provide the best care to patients. Advanced systems like hemodynamic monitors, ICP monitors, IAP monitors, ventilators, and defibrillators are available to support the patient’s health. We team this with 24×7 diagnostic services like ultrasonography, transthoracic echo, MRI, etc.
High Dependency Unit:
In high dependency unit, the patients are cared for extensively but not to the point of intensive care. Patients once stabilized in critical care unit are generally placed in this unit. HDU is thus an intermediate, stepdown, progressive care unit between ICU and wards. Intensive nursing and clinical care are provided to patients in the HDU, who require attention before regaining stability. A nurse is assigned to each bed to ensure quick and efficient care and monitoring.
