Patients of COVID-19 are a vulnerable population, with complex needs because of lingering symptoms and complications across multiple organ systems. Those who require hospitalization or intensive care are also at risk for post-hospital syndrome and post-ICU syndromes, with attendant cognitive, psychological, and physical impairments, and high levels of health care utilization. Effective ambulatory care for COVID-19 survivors requires coordination across multiple subspecialties, 

Persistent Symptoms include:

1. Fatigue
2. Insomnia
3. Changes in smell and taste
4. Shortness of breath
5. Chest pain
6. Palpitations
7. Dizziness
8. Depression, and anxiety

In some cases, the symptoms are disabling, preventing patients from working or even going about their normal daily activities.

Our Post-Covid Packages have been curated specifically to help guide and coordinate care for a large number of people with these COVID-19 aftereffects. Our outpatient clinic is dedicated to PASC (Post-Acute Sequelae SARC cov infection). 

We have designed a structured approach to assess patients who come to the clinic around the domains of health that we believe could be relevant for the post-acute sequelae of COVID-19. In the development of the clinic, we collaborated very closely with Psychiatry, Neuropsychology, Geriatricians, and Rehabilitation and Occupational therapists so that we can facilitate referrals for our patients to our expert specialists in-house at Yashoda Hospitals.
