Yashoda Hospitals conducts national conference on ‘Shoulder Injuries: Current concepts, Basic and advanced’
Hyderabad, 9th June 2019: In association with Telangana Orthopedic Surgeons Associations (TOSA), Yashoda Hospitals, Secunderabad conducted the national conference on Shoulder injuries: Current concepts, Basic and advanced. Health Minister Etela Rajender was the chief guest of the conference, which was presided over by the Managing Director of Yashoda Hospitals, Dr. G. S. Rao. The conference was led by Chairman and Senior Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Nithin Kumar. The conference was attended by over 200 national and international faculty.
The latest trends and technologies in orthopedic surgery for shoulder injuries including minimally invasive procedures and key-hole surgeries were discussed. These keyhole surgeries allow for complicated procedures without the need for opening the shoulder joints. Due to their minimally invasive nature, patients recover quickly when compared to traditional open surgeries.
