What is Pan D?

    Side Effects Of Pan D

    Pan D is mostly safe for consumption by patients. However, if patients develop adverse side effects, they may suffer from —

    • Xerostomia (also known as dry mouth).
    • Constant headache.
    • Diarrhea.
    • Dizziness.
    • Nausea, vomiting.
    • Stomach pain.
    • Altered sense of taste.
    • Joint/muscle pain.
    • Vitamin B12 deficiency.
    • Irregular periods.

    Pan D can be taken orally, per a doctor's prescription. It is advised to take 1 capsule one hour before a meal for at least 5-7 days. Any modifications made in the prescription by the doctor must be followed duly.

    Pan D capsule can be administered before or after a meal, though it's advised to be taken one hour before the meal. Pan D is most effective treating GERD and peptic ulcer disease when taken one hour before the meal.

    When faced with acidity, digestion problems, or GERD, Pan D, a capsule, is taken orally one hour before a meal. It can be taken once or twice daily, depending on the doctor's prescription.

    Although there haven’t been cases where Pan D consumption has been harmful to the mother or child during pregnancy, it is considered best to consult a doctor before any such administration. Precautionary measures need to be taken during pregnancy.

    New mothers taking Pan D are advised to put breastfeeding on hold until completing the medicine course. This is to avoid any passing over of the drug through breast milk to the baby. Consult a doctor if you're facing any digestive issues and do not self-medicate.

    Pan D is a recommended medicine for constipation, as it neutralizes stomach acids for easier gas passage. But it must be taken within prescribed amounts, as constipation is also a side effect of Pan D. For treatment of constipation, laxatives are suggested.

    You can take it once daily. Pan D must be taken preferably in the morning, one hour before food. A doctor can modify its dosage. Though it can be taken after food, its effectiveness is at its peak if taken an hour before food.
