What Is Nise?
Nise tablet is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic medicine. Nimesulide is the active ingredient of Nise tablets, and it is marketed in India by Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. Nise belongs to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) class of painkillers. Nimesulide – the active ingredient in Nise tablets, acts by inhibiting the release of chemicals responsible for inflammation and pain, such as free radicals, prostaglandins, and cyclooxygenase. It is advised to treat mild to moderate pain. Nise also has antipyretic properties.
What Are The Uses Of Nise?
- Nise tablets are analgesic medication used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as tooth pain originating from infection or caries, nerve pain, period pain (dysmenorrhea, menstrual cramps), backache, post-operative pain, muscle pain, sprains, arthritis (osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis), and pain related to ear, nose and throat infections.
- Relieves discomfort by reducing inflammation or swelling by inhibiting the release of prostaglandins.
- Useful in fever as it rapidly reduces high body temperature.
- Nise tablets are not recommended during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and to children below 12-years of age.
