Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts by inhibition of the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme and rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that acts to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach.

Altraday is a medicine that is used to relieve pain, swelling, and inflammation in joints and muscles. It has also been indicated for the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Aceclofenac is associated with increased acid production and damage to the inner lining of the gastrointestinal tract. The rabeprazole component in the Altraday helps to relieve acidity caused by aceclofenac by reducing the secretion of the acid. It is widely used for the treatment of backache, toothache, ear pain, etc.
