Critical Care Education Foundation was setup as a felt need, by practitioners of intensive care, for a platform to provide high quality practical training to doctors and nurses in developing countries in general and India in specific. It works closely with the Intensivists from the prestigious Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Mater Hospital, Brisbane, Australia to provide international level training in Data Interpretation at the annual Indo-Australian Critical Care Training Programs.
Through its College of Critical Care Medicine, it conducting of the very popular 2 year Fellowship program in Critical Care Medicine. The Program and examination is structured on lines of the Australian JFICM Examination with a written component, OSCEs, VIVAs and clinical cases. Examiners are from India and Australia. The aim is to prepare Indian doctors for examinations of an International level.
FCCM is being conducted by the Yashoda Group of Hospitals in collaboration with College of Critical Care Medicine, Mumbai.
