What is Frozen Shoulder?
Frozen shoulders are characterized by stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint. In medical terms they are also known as adhesive capsulitis, a condition in which there is stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint. Symptoms like pain and immobility begin gradually and worsen over time. Frozen shoulder usually resolves on its own within 3-4 years.
The chances of developing a frozen shoulder are higher when an individual is recovering from a medical disease or surgery that restricts them from moving their arms.
