What are the symptoms of Deep Vein Thrombosis?
DVT condition can sometimes be asymptomatic. However, the first symptom a patient may experience is usually a cramp-like sensation in the affected area. Other symptoms may include:
- Swelling, pain, redness of the affected muscle
- Warmth to the touch
- Worsening of the pain when moving that muscle
- Discoloration and prominence of the vein due to blood clot
- Tenderness of the affected area
- Fever is sometimes associated with this condition
