What is Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction?

This is the most common problem that is related to the foot and ankle. It occurs when the posterior tibial tendon is inflamed or damaged. Due to the damage, the tendon is unable to provide accurate support and stability to the arch of the foot resulting in a flatfoot.
