What is Clubfoot?

It is a defect in which the foot is twisted out of shape or its position during birth. The infant’s foot turns inward, sometimes so that the bottom of the foot faces sideways or even upwards. Clubfoot is not painful during infancy, but if not treated on time, the child may have problems walking and normally.

What are the causes of Clubfoot?

The actual reason that causes clubfoot is still unknown, but the most accepted theory for the causes is a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
