Background

A 54 year old man presented with left flank ecchymosis (Grey turner sign) and left anterolateral chest wall tenderness. No history of trauma or recent major illness. Recent history of severe non-productive cough.

Diagnosis & Treatment

CT scan revealed left lung herniation through 7th and 8th rib space. Intercostal repair done by Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery.
