Treatment usually involves a combination of therapies such as surgery, chemotherapy, targeted drug therapy, radiation therapy, or immunotherapy. Patients should discuss potential risks and benefits with their healthcare provider to understand and manage the possible complications while undergoing treatment for metastatic colorectal cancer.
