Acute Chronic Liver Failure (ACLF) is a heterogeneous complex disease characterized by deteriorating liver and kidney function and can be associated with organ failure in patients with chronic liver disease. A Liver Transplant may be recommended for end-stage liver disease (chronic liver failure). A young 10-year-old boy named Saharsh Bardia, came with complaints of Jaundice and was not responding to the treatments given earlier. In due course of several tests, Saharsh was diagnosed with Wilson’s Disease at Yashoda Hospitals Secunderabad, which affected his liver. Dr. Venu Gopal, Sr. Consultant – HPB Surgery & Liver Transplantation, after completely analyzing the condition of the child suggested Liver Transplant as the best suited. The 10-year old showed remarkable recovery and was discharged safe and healthy!
